Support

A little ease, when you need it.

Grief doesn’t come with a map. We hope to offer a little comfort, connection and practical support as you find your way.

Thoughtful support. Always free.

Choose what feels helpful. You don’t need to share your whole story to ask.

Words to hold on to

Tailored books

Ask about a thoughtful book shaped around your family, to help open gentle conversations about love, loss and remembering.

A little comfort

Grief support boxes

Request a grief support box for yourself or ask how to support someone you love. We’ll talk through what may be available.

Someone to listen

Book a chat

Sometimes it helps to speak to someone who understands. Ask for a gentle conversation, at a pace that feels right for you.

Before you get in touch

Is support free?

Yes. Tailored books, grief support boxes and chats from Yusra’s Promise are free. Requests are subject to availability, and the team will discuss what is possible with you.

Who can ask for support?

Families affected by the loss of a child can get in touch. If you are asking on behalf of someone else, tell us only your own contact details at first; we can discuss a thoughtful next step together.

Is a chat a counselling appointment?

No. A chat offers peer support and a listening ear. It does not replace professional counselling, medical advice or urgent help. Sending the form requests a conversation; the team will agree a time and format with you.

Can I request support outside my local area?

Please get in touch and tell us your town or region if you are requesting a box. We will confirm what can be arranged. There is no need to share a full postal address in the first form.

If you need urgent support

Our inbox is not monitored continuously, and we cannot offer emergency help. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
